Dental specialists complete two to six extra years of training after dental school and usually work on referral from a general dentist, although most accept patients who call directly. Orthodontists straighten teeth with braces and clear aligners; endodontists handle root canals; periodontists treat gum disease and place implants; oral and maxillofacial surgeons extract wisdom teeth, place implants and do jaw surgery, often under IV sedation; prosthodontists rebuild smiles with crowns, bridges and dentures; denture centers focus on full and partial dentures, relines and repairs. Sedation and hospital dentists serve anxious patients and people with special needs, while TMJ and sleep-apnea dentists make oral appliances for jaw pain and snoring.

Brandon is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Brandon follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I probably had all TMJ symptoms including pain, clicking, popping, locking and ear issues. I couldn't even open enough to eat a hamburger. However, the symptoms started going away after the first treatment and getting the right orthodic. Dr Busciglio and the thoughtful staff took time to explain each step. I trusted the process and glad to report that all my symptoms are gone. Well worth the results.

I cannot say enough good things about this TMJ clinic and the care I’ve received so far. In just two weeks with the device, I’ve already improved around 70%, which honestly feels life-changing. Before starting treatment, I was in constant pain. My jaw would lock shut, I was getting frequent headaches, and eating had become extremely difficult. It was affecting my everyday life more than I realized. The physician has been incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. He takes the time to thoroughly explain everything, answer questions, and make sure you feel comfortable and informed. My initial visit was extremely thorough, which immediately gave me confidence that they truly care about finding the root cause and helping patients heal. I also have to give a special shoutout to Kiara! She is soooo sweet and always make me feel more comfortable at my visits! I always enjoy talking with her, and she makes every visit feel welcoming and easier! Honestly though, every single staff member I’ve interacted with has been amazing. You can tell this office truly cares about their patients. I’m so grateful I found this clinic and would absolutely recommend them t

I am very happy with the care and treatment I have received at the temporomandibular disorder clinic. Not only because of the results I have experienced, but also because of the way the entire team treats their patients. Everyone has been incredibly kind, understanding, and patient. They truly listen carefully to my concerns, offer different alternatives and solutions, and take the time to explain clearly what is happening and why. That level of attention and care has made me feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. Also, since I am not very fluent in English, their patience and willingness to communicate with me in a calm and respectful way has meant a lot to me. I sincerely appreciate it very much. Thank you to the entire team for your professionalism, compassion, and excellent care.

This place was traumatizing I paid 7+ thousand dollars in treatment for it to not work. I followed every step accordingly and was devastated and all the doctor could say is sometimes it doesn’t work for some people. I wasn’t even upset; an acknowledging and accepting that I could just be that one percent. Until, I got a second opinion and they said that my joints were displaced to the point that surgery would’ve been the only thing that could have fixed me. That’s what really made me distrust this doctor because they could tell me that from one scan and so I know this place knew that from the start and took my money anyways. Put me through eight months of hell just to tell me sometimes it doesn’t work. Please get a second opinion before trusting this doctor.

Dr. and staff were kind and professional during my initial virtual consultation and making an appointment. However, I spent about 30 minutes in that appointment only to be told I would need two additional consultations afterward. One phone consultation for $85 and an in-person visit for $490. This information was only shared at the very end of the appointment. Had I known this upfront, I would not have scheduled the initial consultation or taken time away from both myself and the staff. Given my situation, I considered proceeding anyway, but after reading reviews and seeing how the practice responds to unhappy patients, I’ve chosen to go elsewhere. The approach that it is others faults for unclear communication on your part is not very professional. Transparency matters. If multiple paid consultations are required, that should be clearly communicated from the beginning so patients can make decisions and not waste time.
